If you're anything like me, any information you can find on how to learn a language easily is very useful. Learning a new language can be frustrating and time consuming, especially when you feel like you're not getting anywhere. It's so much easier to learn a new language when you're young but for many of us, that time has passed and we are now faced with the endless pile of books, dvds and audio cds in our quest to at least make some sense in a foreign country.
Lets face it, many people do not have the patience or the time to be able to learn a new language. Quite often we end up learning just enough to get us by, more often these are quite pointless phrases and have no use in everyday life - but at least they sound impressive!!
Most of us who want to learn a foreign language are enthusiastic to start with and want to master the language if not immediately, at least within a few hours. We get oour books, our tapes, and dictionaries and leap in for the attack, much like dieters on New Years Day, and the results are similar too. Focus turns to frustration if the results are not immediately noticable, then enthusiasum becomes avoidance until we become the goal cannot be achieved and so give up either dieting or learning that language
